Family Dinner

Mom, Dad, and Mason went out for dinner.  Mason was supposed to be asleep in his carseat.  But, he wasn't.  Right after the food arrived, Mason started screaming. Screaming so loud and without pause, Mom had to take him out of the restaurant.

Dad ate his dinner alone in the restaurant. Mason ate his in the car. And Mom ate her dinner at home from the to-go box. So much for family dinner.

Most parents have probably experienced something similar to this at least once. And they've probably also experienced this.... After cutting their dinner short and rushing to get Mason home, they realized there was no reason to rush. Mason was already asleep in the back seat.

    Sorry about your dinner! Eileen used to tell me how this would happen to them all the time with both Lawrence and Michael. Eileen would go out to the car and settle them, and Harold would eat, then he would come out to the car and she would go in and eat. I'm not sure why she didn't take her's home. Next time you want a dinner out, I'll come babysit!
